Iván Lissandrello se sirve del mote IVLISS (también conocido como Odioído) para darle autoría a su LP One More Day, One Day Less.

Imposible no remitir este juego de palabras al singular momento de creación del disco, grabado y producido entre los años 2015 y 2017, en Estudios La Modelo, Barcelona.

En un contexto de limitaciones de todo tipo, principalmente técnicas, se gesta este álbum, que indudablemente desbordará la situación.

Sirviéndose solo de generación digital y software básico como herramientas, la escucha nos traslada a paisajes nocturnos y atmósferas desoladas.
Sutiles tensiones armónicas y disonancias reinan, las secuencias se superponen sin caer nunca en lugares comunes, proponiendo desconocidos pasajes que se desvían de complacencias armónicas esperables.

De este modo, utilizando códigos, sonidos y tratamientos de la música ambient, IVLISS nos lleva más allá, donde, de manera apacible y sin sobresaltos somos guiados hacia extraños y profundos momentos; en donde la tensión estará presente, pero nunca alcanzando gestos de exasperación.

Y es en este último sentido, retomando la situación de creación del álbum, que se hace imposible no señalar, que este sutil equilibrio entre tensión y distensión, resultará en un signo sublimador. J.G.

Iván Lissandrello uses the nickname IVLISS (AKA Odioído) to author his LP: "One More Day, One Day Less."

It is impossible not to refer this game of words to the unique moment of creation of the album: it was recorded and produced between 2015 and 2017, at Estudios La Modelo, Barcelona.

This album was created in a context of limitations of all kinds, mainly technical, which undoubtedly overwhelmed the situation.

Using digital synthesis and basic software as tools, listening to the album transports us to nocturnal landscapes and desolate atmospheres.

Subtle harmonic tensions and dissonances reign. The sequences overlap without ever falling into common places. IVLISS proposes unknown passages that deviate from expected harmonic complacency.

In this way, using codes, sounds and treatments of ambient music, the artist takes us further, where in a peaceful and smooth way we are guided towards strange and profound moments; where the tension will be present, but never reaching gestures of exasperation.

And it is in this last sense, returning to the situation in which the album was created, where it is impossible not to point out, that this subtle balance between tension and relaxation will result in a sublimating sign. J.G.
